This antenna is part of the company’s range of omni-directional antennas, which currently provide wideband performance up to 42.5 GHz, either vertically or slant polarised. The UWB antenna will allow the company’s customers to replace multiple antennas across the bandwidth with one antenna, resulting in reduced costs, set up times, and helping to meet critical weight and space requirements, particularly in airborne applications.

The antenna handles up to 40 W power CW with gain of -2.2 to 6.9 dBi over 1 to 40 GHz. The -3 dB beamwidth (elevation) is 140 to 20 degrees, while the -10 dB beamwidth (elevation) is 170 to 44.5 degrees. VSWR is typically <2.5:1 with a maximum specification of <3.5:1.

Made from aluminium and engineering plastics, the antenna comes with an angled mounting plate and 2.92-mm K-type jack. It weighs 720 grams and measures 100-mm in diameter and 108-mm long.
