About EETimes Europe

EE Times Europe is a combined print and online publication developed as part of the EE Times global strategy.

Since its acquisition by European Business Press SA late 2009, EETimes Europe has been re-organizing its editorial team in order to make the best use of its available resources.

While Julien Happich was appointed Editor-in-Chief of EETimes Europe, Jean-Pierre Joosting remains on board as the editor in charge of RF and microwave related matters and Nick Flaherty joined as the editor in charge of embedded systems related topics.

Paul Buckley runs both the EETimes Europe Power Management website and EETimes Europe Analog Europe website and will contribute more actively to the print edition of EETimes Europe and should be your main contact for power-related topics. Christoph Hammerschmidt runs the EETimes Europe Automotive website as well as the EETimes Europe LED Lighting website and also contributes to EETimes Europe while Nick Flaherty covers all Embedded Technologies.

EETimes Europe also has a license with EETimes allowing for the use of any article written by its staff in Europe and in the USA.

Analog designers can finally receive the productivity boost they need with Tanner's layout acceleration tool: HiPer DevGen.

The tool automatically reads a netlist to identify and then generate key analogue design primitives including resistor arrays, current mirrors and differential pairs. HiPer L-Edit DevGen dramatically improves layout productivity and reduces design cycle time, while generating structures at a very high level of quality.

This month and exclusively for EETimes Europe readers, Tanner is offering a three-month license of HiPer L-Edit DevGen, worth 1500 euros, open to five companies.

And the winners are...

In our previous reader offer, Future Technology Devices International was giving away three Android application development packages worth 550 Euros each.

Lucky winners include Mr. J. Valls Martí from Spain, Mr K. Bremner from the UK, and Mr J. Bjarnoe from Denmark.

All should be receiving their kits soon. Let's wish them some interesting findings with their projects.
