AEG Power Solutions appoints COMPUTERLINKS to support UPS customers

AEG Power Solutions has added COMPUTERLINKS, the next generation distributor of IT security and Internet technology solutions, to its channel sales network. As part of AEG’s expanding business continuity portfolio COMPUTERLINKS will now be able to provide its channel partners with the full range of AEG Power Solutions’ uninterrupted power supply (UPS) and power protection products and solutions to ensure their customers networks are available 24/7/365.
AEG Power Solutions claims to offer the world's most comprehensive portfolio of premium power supply and control products, systems, and services. AEG’s solutions are designed specifically to interface with utility electrical grids, providing high efficiency, customised energy solutions for all applications requiring complex, intelligent power supply control.
COMPUTERLINKS will be able to offer the channel AEG Power Solutions’ full range of power protection products, from its PROTECT A UPS for workstations through to the recently introduced PROTECT B. Pro and PROTECT D. families for data center applications, which offer users new standards of energy efficiency and operational convenience. With an efficiency of 98% the revised line-interactive PROTECT B. Pro UPS series now offers the best series-in-class standards, while the PROTECT D. is a new family of Online UPS with a power factor of 0.9 thanks to AEG Power Solutions’ “ECO Mode +” high energy efficiency function for high-performance communications, IT installations and data centers. For protecting networks and computer centres COMPUTERLINKS will also be available to supply the high power PROTECT 1 and PROTECT 1M UPS families featuring VFI topology (online double conversion), scalable and redundant n+x technology secure power up to 24 KVA.
COMPUTERLINKS will support AEG Power Solutions in the rollout of its three-tier P3 Power Partner Program. The agreement is the latest in a series of new channel initiatives being offered by the distributor following the recent remodelling of its business to deliver margin-rich services to its partners. COMPUTERLINKS will provide training, pre-sales support and customer site surveys, as well as sales and marketing programmes to help develop profitable opportunities for resellers.
