Integrated touch-platform targets control and HMI applications

The miriac HMI1022 HMI unit from MicroSys carries Freescale QorIQ CPUs in combination with miriac MPX SoMs. In its current version it is a P1022 CPU.


The units are highly integrated and come configured with a set of I/O functions fit for typical HMI applications. The HMI1022 offers RS232/485, USB, 2xLAN, CAN, SD-Card (intern), RFID, optionally a SATA- interface and/or a SPI extension can be provided. The company also makes available various board support packages and middleware tools to address market specific requirements. The system features a high resolution 15” 4-wire LED backlight touch display. It is operated by a QorIQ P1022 Dual Core CPU with on chip graphics at 600 MHz to 1055 MHz. The HMI1022 offers up to 2 GB DDR2 and 512 MB NAND flash memory. The system operates under Linux, VxWorks, Microware OS-9, MicroC/OS-II or QNX. It is designed for harsh environments and versions for extended temperature (-30°C to +85°C) are available on request.
