Signalion has started shipping the first LTE-Advanced radio solution in AMC form factor. The new member of the AMC-SRRM family is an AMC radio module that supports the new LTE-Advanced frequency bands 42 and 43 from 3.4 to 3.8GHz. The radio module supports all SDR features as well as firmware modules such as CPRI.

The unit is tailored to 3GPP bands for lab and field applications and designed to fits all the LTE bands, both in TDD and FDD modes. It features 2x2 MIMO with generic extension towards 4x4 and 8x8 MIMO. The radio is 3GPP LTE rel. 9 compliant up to CAT4 with upgradability to rel. 10 and CAT5 and beyond. CPRI is available as baseband interface between SORBAS baseband processing and SORBAS frequency-agile radio.
