Gowanda and Instec join forces to provide broader range of passive electronic components
Instec Filters is a global supplier of EMI/RFI filters, feedthroughs, and filter assemblies. The company was located in California but recently moved its operations to Arcade, NY, near Gowanda in Upstate New York. Instec Filters President Dan Jordan said, “Instec is well-established in the European market. This new arrangement with Gowanda will enable us to expand quickly into the North American market by leveraging the strengths of both companies.”
Jordan added, “Instec is known for its quick turn-around on quotes, prototypes and production; the company’s typical 2-week lead time for manufacturing production quantities is impressive compared to most other suppliers in the industry.”
Denis Kohlhagen, Gowanda Electronics’ Director of Sales said, “This arrangement with Instec Filters will enable Gowanda to accelerate its plans for growth in strategically important products and markets due to synergies in technology, design, manufacturing, sales channels and customers. We look forward to expanding our line of passive components in order to serve the needs of the global electronics marketplace.”
Gowanda Holdings, the parent organization, now owns both Gowanda Electronics and Instec Filters. It is anticipated that other arrangements will be announced in the future as Gowanda grows its passives portfolio.
