Unipower LLC has introduced the SGH 3000 Series of 650 W, 12 V front-ends designed to satisfy the latest networking and datacom applications that demand smaller size, lower energy consumption and a reduced cost of ownership.

The SGH Series offers a power density of 17.5 W/in³ and efficiency levels to 92%.

Featuring a universal AC input (90 to 264 VAC) with minimum power factor greater than 0.95, they provide 12 VDC and a 5 V standby outputs from a 1U high package.  N+N redundant operation is achieved with active load sharing and ORing protection circuitry. A Class B EMI filter is also standard.

In addition, the new Front-Ends incorporate both analog and PMBus communication for status control of each power module as well as LED indicators and audible alarms to communicate status or fault conditions.

Measuring 11.81 x 1.99 x 1.57 inch (300 x 50.5 x 40 mm), Unipower’s SGH3000 Series Front-Ends feature an operating temperature range of 0 to +50ºC and variable speed cooling fans.

Like all Unipower products, the SGH3000 Series comes with a two year warranty.
