The company will show a cost-effective system to test digital TV receivers for DVB-T, DVB-T2, ISDB-T, based on its S1000 signal generator. In addition, the efficient testing of DAB receivers using the S1000 and the EDI/ETI interface will be demonstrated. The S1000 signal generator platform combines 31 virtual signal generators into one compact, flexible RF test source. It is a popular test equipment for the development and verification of receiving devices and is for example fully supported in HD radio and XM type approval setups.
The R3000 receiver family allows engineers to analyze and demodulate analog and digital wideband signals. At IBC, IZT will showcase the digital wideband receiver R3301, as the preferred means for recording RF signals in the field. Four Terabytes of storage space can record up to 20.5 MHz bandwidth over twelve hours with 16 Bit resolution. In particular, IZT will demonstrate DAB/DAB+ demodulation and analysis on the R3301.
