TT electronics has opened the company’s latest European production centre in Timisoara, Romania which will manufacture a range of advanced power modules, microelectronic devices and sensors for industrial and transportation applications.

The new production facility covers approximately 5000 square meters and currently employs 35 local staff with plans in place to increase that to about 100 throughout the coming year as new production lines are added.

Florin Tulcan, operations manager at TT electronics’ Timisoara facility continued, “Timisoara was selected as the location for the new factory ahead of several other locations for a number of reasons.  The area is rapidly developing and offers superb transport links to the rest of Europe and the city supports a large university as well as several other advanced technology companies enabling us to recruit knowledgeable experienced staff.”
