The device features a built-in GPS that allows location-based referencing for the acquired data. Its unique hot swap functionality allows the user to change the battery on the fly, without losing any data. The Zypad comes with a 3.5" TFT touchscreen display at QVGA resolution with backlight control. Also included are an integrated microphone, mono-audio speaker and the ability to connect an external microphone. The wearable computer supports an optional barcode scanner as well as an external ring-scanner.
